  You spoke, and I listened.................... My next book (my 5th children's picture book) will have sign language for all text on every page! I'm very excited about this book, very so, that I decided to make a series out of it! The series title is "SIGNING WITH ELLA" and the book one is "DOES ANYONE KNOW MY LANGUAGE?". Last month, I sent it to the editor and hired an illustrator. Look for it on pre-order this summer and it will be available on October 7th.  This is the cover for it:

One year when I was a young kid   around Mother's Day, I was writing my father. who was deployed overseas. I wanted to tell him what I got my mom for Mother's Day. However, I didn't know how to spell it, so, I looked the sign for flowers in our sign language book. Well, that is how I learned how to spell flower.
